On bunkering market development

- One of the key factors of impact on the bunkering market development is the international environmental regulations getting tougher from year to year. The year of 2015 was a landmark for the bunkering market of the Russian Federation as the cap for sulphur emissions from ships was set at maximum 0.1 %, which considerably limited the use of conventional heavy fuel oil with sulphur content of 3.5% in ECAs.

The bunkering market has adjusted itself to work in new conditions and is getting prepared to a new cap which is to be effective from 2020.
